Just got a message from John Adams that eq2emu was up...so HAD to find it.
Glad that this is kicking off, so now hope that my world building, database tweaking, coding, script writing self can add some value to this project.
So now to find and introduce myself to the creators that be to see where I can lend a hand.
(And yes, I will also a solo server here too...but focus on geting a live model up first)

Welcome, Irreverent. Good to see you here. Your work will be greatly appreciated.
If you're into C++ stuff, look for Lethalencounter. You can't miss him. He's the guy wandering around with the mob following him with palm frons.
If Database is your thing, you can talk to me I guess. :D though there are a few on our DB team now that can answer any questions.

This is excellent news. More developers are needed and are the base for every emulator.
Drop by our IRC channel sometime, we can share ideas and give you some tasks to accomplish.

Sorry, long time delay!
Was very busy getting my Solo EQ1 server working...and now its fairly polished and have several guides...so now I can come back to this for it REALLY interests me.
I'll probably be doing the same thing as everyone else, but will be doing it on a solo-perspective. Which only means npcs, spells, and potentially quests will be effected. But, I'm anal and keep a good log of my changes and can easily retrofit or reverse engineer anything I do to help out here.
Hopefully the guide is up to date and I can just easily follow that information...

Lets try to avoid reviving posts that were created over a year ago :)
