I tried to patch EQ2, but I noticed it redownloads like everything. Total file size with 9gb with about 2000 files. I doubt the update is that big.

Could you tell me how old your EverQuest 2 installation is?
Did you select the same folder as your current EQ2 install and are you sure you pressed the 'EverQuest II' button?
Just getting the obvious out of the way.
And...how many expansions do you have? Think about that hard..

Ok I had a chance to try this tool out, and I must say it works GREAT! I do have a suggestion though:
Currently you have to select your Working Directory first, and then click on the game you want to update. My suggestion is to make it ask for the directory AFTER you click the button of the game you want to update. Your current setup allows for you to, for example, select your EQ2 folder and start downloading SWG files into it. Also, (this is just a matter of personal taste) you may want to make your game buttons a tad smaller, they seem to be overwhelming the interface.
Overall, I have to say this is the most awesome tool I've seen in a LONG time! Thumbs up buddy!

Well Arremis, thank you for the kind words and suggestions
You're not the first one telling me to shrink the buttons so I guess I'll have to do that for the next release. I'll also consider the folder choice suggestion but you can't go wrong if you know where you're saving everything.
Thanks for the thanks

I was thinking about the people who don't (no offense to anyone) - like Joe who sits Grandma who never saw a calculator before in front of the comp and says "Hey do this for me so I can finish my level on Xbox." - or Joe who sets up the working directory and while he's in the bathroom Little 5-Year-Old Sister comes along and just starts clicking randomly on the pretty pictures, etc.

Joe sounds like an idiot with attention deficit disorder, and should be a tad more focused.

Nice work, Link.
