Hey guys, i have been 4 years in the projecteq beta team, and i would like contribute to this new project. Anybody could tell me what is the current DB phase?? are we moving in the same direction that projecteq, step by step for each expansion??
Thank you in advance!!

The current "phase" of the database here is extreme alpha, meaning the structure is growing along with the code at the moment. Once the code gets more towards a beta release state, the database will get populated with as much data as we can get our hands on.
I do not plan to release "Shattered Lands", and then months later, "Desert of Flames" if that's what you mean. The Content Team (TBD) will have the task of taking collected data and cleansing it to be release-ready. This might be zone by zone, expansion by expansion, until we get a majority of it done.
The Database release target is EQ2Emu 1.0, same as the code. However, mini-releases are a possibility if we get enough interested parties involved in the cleaning/validating process. This, as you likely know, is a momumental task. So it will take some time.
As for current tasks, collecting. From everywhere. Zones, npcs, objects, items, functions, etc. We probably should create a list of zone info we already have... but honestly, you can never have too much data.
If you are interested in any aspect (DB Design, Content Team or Beta Testing), you can PM me and we can talk.
