• autoupdated client cannot login

Hello from russian site about Everquest 2
My friend tell me about problem
I cannot test it im using linux, not windows:

Client autoupdated to 0.6 cannot login
Messaging about different versions

Sounds like his Client updated to LIVE (Latest Version from Sony). He needs to downgrade his client.

um, 0.6 supports the current live client (4938L).

It does to a point. You can log on but as far as I've noticed, /summonitem doesn't work with the latest client. 0.6 was released Sunday afternooon and that Monday morning SOE released another patch and must've changed a struct. LE said he was going to look into once he has time so it'll be fixed.

That sucks... It just updated today to 4949L and I didnt get a chance to get 4938L before... Oh well, just have to wait again.

Thats why I never run the patcher program to start the game

I tried a patch before 4938L first and that didn't work, so I updated.
