Correct me if I'm wrong but...
Custom UI's are merely XML files that format info the client has to receive for the regular UI to function properly. So, by default, Custom UI's should be supported (unless they use a portion of the game that the emulator does not support).
Which would mean that any section that doesn't work with a Custom UI won't work with the standard UI.

Re: Custom UI Support
Is this another one of those questions just to get conversation flowing? Because I am pretty sure you already know the answer here...Arremis wrote:Is there going to be any?

Re: Custom UI Support
The reason I asked was because of the current data types in the UI Builder, such as the information streamed from the server to give you, for example, the maximum number of hit points displayed on a text label. Since it's an emu, there may be data types added, for example, the number of experience points needed to reach the next level, or how much hate and threat you have built up on a mob, which the current UI Builder doesn't have.John Adams wrote: Is this another one of those questions just to get conversation flowing? The bottom line is I'm wondering if all the data types in the UI Builder are going to be present, and are there data types going to be added or removed and if so, will we be able to do this through the UI Builder, or are we going to have to code the XML by hand? I'd hate to make a custom UI only to have bits missing.
As a side note, I am proficient with the UI Builder, and can create custom Admin windows if anyone is interested

Hmm, if the current UI builder gets its info from the SOE live servers, won't the UI builder in any client we use do the same thing? Or can you actually tell it the address to connect to to pull info from?
If the former, you're screwed. But, it's a cool idea. And I had asked months ago for Custom Admin UI's for the emulator. I'm still waiting.
j/k
