Combat Art/Spell Upgrades

Anyone have any ideas how we should be handling spell "upgrades" for players? I believe in the live game, when you get take your Apprentice I to Apprentice II, you do not get an additional spell icon in your knowledge book, but instead the existing one gets replaced by the new one.
Is this correct? Doing some test spell data, I was tossing everything available to my class into my book - but of course, I now have 8 Faithful Swing icons. I don't think that's right.

That can be handled easily enough by the code without adding another field to the database, assuming that the spell has the exact same name (excluding the ending like Adept I, II, etc) and has a higher tier.

Yeah, so far they all have the same exact "name" value, tier and params are different, different spell_id of course. But I believe we have to remove the old spell_classes link and replace it with the new one during upgrades.
For testing though, we'll be loading our books up with every iteration - it just looks ugly, so I wanted everyone to be aware to pay attention to what "tier" they are testing before signing off on the spell/script.

Yeah, when you get a tier upgrade you still use the same icon, you do not get a new icon for the same spell at a different tier.
