hi, i'm new on this server, and i just install my everquest 2 (DVD collector) and patch it, but i know i need
- Build 4412 (Rise of Kunark DVD or Digital Download)
- Build 4427L
- Build 4523L
- Build 4530L
and the patcher give me the 5048L oO,
i just patch 30 min, so i don't know how find the 4xxx builds...
can u help me please ?
i think i'm alone on TESS server or eq2emu server because i haven't the good build.
i can't talk with NPC and can't find items, equipments etc.

The only way to get the 4XXX builds is if you made a backup copy of your EQ2 directory before patching at the time those builds were in use.

Alright, I am going to save John the trouble-
1.) YOU HAVE TO USE THE RoK BOX SET. THERE IS NO OTHER WAY TO GET A WORKING CLIENT RIGHT NOW.
2.) THIS PROJECT IS IN ALPHA, WHICH MEANS THE PROJECT IS STILL IN EARLY DEVELOPMENT
3.) PLEASE READ THE FORUMS- THESE POINTS HAVE BEEN GONE OVER 50 MILLION TIMES

i know this ^^ i'm a alpha/beta tester,
so i understand there isnt all features in this servers...
but i read the message when we connect on TESS server, it said : spells are implemented and others things, but i couldn't have them, so i think its not because its an alpha but because i have a bad version ...
(sorry for my english i cry when i read me ^^')
well we can't have good builds ... i read on the forum we can have one when we took 14 days free but its RoK... so i dont understand, maybe that was a old message :p

just a last question.. i saw 2 servers, did they are others ?

Haha, Zexis... you read my mind! I was in mid-post in fact when the lightning storm that was over our house shut off my power.
And dekk, I am not sure that having a bad version would stop the conversations. Not all NPCs (on Tess) have conversations. Murrar Shar is your first try. He offers a quest. If you cannot talk to him, then yes, your version is screwed and you have to wait til we fix that (few mos probably - we're not going to "chase live" as a priority for now).
The player base is 0, so you won't see other people yet. Occasionally, but rarely.
Items, don't even waste your time. There are 15k items in the DB, but they do not show up in game since those are slated to be implemented at a later date. Server core functionality and stability is primary for the next few mos.
See Zexis? I can be a grown up sometimes. (just woke up, and the coffee is goooood)
