Well, ya see... it's a long story.
When I got home, I checked out the server which was in that stuck state with 3 zones started, 15 clients connected, and everytime I would try to connect, one more client was added but no connection allowed. I remembered LE asking me to set up a certain way to debug that "seize", so I dug up the steps and tried to get Tess setup that way.
Then I realized, I had no Visual Studio on that machine, so debugging was not going to work. So I moved the entire server to my dev box, and after 16 attempts, finally remembered all the config changes I needed to make to get a debug version working on my local machine

So I change my CriticalSection regkey to 30, run VS2005, compile to Debug, the server runs great. I go to connect, immediate crash with some memory allocaiton error. No matter what I did, crash. I knew this was me, and my config/debug, so I didn't bother telling LE since I am sure it's just my lack of debug savvy.
Move the entire server back to it's original host and called it a night. Not 20 minutes later, we were hit by the most insane hail and electrical storm seen in these parts for a decade. Microbursts, 3 of them over a 2 hour period, left us powerless.
So all in all, the MMOEmulators "NOC" (haha) was offline 5 hours

Oh what unhappy players there must have been!!! All one of you, Scat. Tee hee.
In the end, a lack of know-how and Mother Nature had defeated me. This seems to happen a lot... wtf?
