What's your weekend plans?

Anyone have any great plans for the weekend?
What about not so great plans?

For me I get to figure out why the blades stop spinning when I lower the deck on my riding mower. Then I get to mow the yard. Since I don't get into bed until 3, 4, or 5 am, and I don't get up until 11 am or 12 noon, that should take up most of the daylight I have left.

Next up is a few hours with the wife. Usually a movie, or a few TV shows before she goes to bed. (This is a very important part of the weekend because it's one of the many things I do to ensure I am one of the nerds that got a real live girl. ) Throw in those honey do's I don't know exist yet, and that finishes off the remainder of the daylight I had left.

Once I have slipped some Benadryl, and sleeping pills, into my wife's drink, it doesn't take long for her to become sleeping beauty. At this point I will go visit my father who lives about 200' from my front door. This is another important part of the weekend. Since I'm an only child, and my mother left us when I was 3, my father became my hero, and love spending time with him. Every year he doesn't get any younger, and nobody knows how many years they have left. I can live easier knowing that I didn't miss out by not visiting when I had the chance.

This last anywhere from 2 to 4 hours depending on how edger I am to jump on the computer or how well our conversation is going. Then I let the inner geek out!

Depending on his mood as to what I do next. So far he is happy, so I believe I will be working a little on a project o started some time back. I took Jabantiz's quest parser and pumped it full of steroids. Well I tried anyway. The goal is to get it to automatically parse all available quest on the census. Now if memory serves me correctly, Gangrenous and I got the parser to do just that, but the geek in me is not smart enough to just stop there. I keep telling the jerk that I don't know how to code all of that stuff, but he either doesn't listen, or doesn't give a crap. So I'm going to try and work on the stuff he wants added into the parser. Hoping it will shut him up and I can parse all the quest and be done with it.

Once his butt gets tired, maybe I should spike his drink with sleeping pills  , then I can finally get some sleep.

Sunday is s whole different story. I will not have to mow the yard, and I'm going to make that geek learn more on blender.

Side note:
I don't really force my wife to take sleeping pills and Benadryl. She only take Benadryl for allergies.

Those both sound like awesome weekends. So full and rewarding.

I was going to do some chores and play with my Arduino. "Arduino" is not a euphemism for penis... but in all honesty i'll probably be playing with that too.

arduinos, are so fun, i half like 20 of the uno here in a box, from back when i was refurbing and reseller slot machines, i used them for a turnkey system i was selling to ohio internet cafes that were allowed to have slot machines, had to create a small system where they could manage the machines, and use ticket in ticket out, on a small scale basis, it was fun while it lasted

Well I only got half the yard mowed. Used the push mower because I was lazy and didn't fix the rider. Well only used the push mower in the places I would have needed to use it anyway.

The following weekend I didn't get to the yard because I have to spread out a dump truck load of gravel for the start on the foundation for my carport and porch.

Blender also took over my time to w on any tools for the emulator project, and will probably keep me occupied for a while. Blender is just freaking awesome!

Still have the honey-do's to do. Always.

A bit of good news finally... Even though it's still satellite internet, I have finally moved from capped data allowance to Unlimited. With unlimited being 150GB my normal speed and after that a possible slow down. 10Mbps I think. Whatever it is, it's a game changer for me.

Well this weekend is going to be a bust. I will not be dragging in until around 9 tonight. If I'm lucky I will get to balance the checkbook.

Just make sure you hang out at the Canadian side. The US side is lame. I would hit up some of the Wax museums and make sure you get to walk under the falls and ride in the maid of the mist. If you like Indian food and are cheap as hell as I am check out Curry Queen. Good food cheap prices.

Plans this weekend...
Working until Saturday evening. Then I'm going to dive into Prey for a few hours. For Sunday it's going to be a few hours watching some TV, visiting with family, put a few hours into my 3D model using Blender, and going to pick up fixing doors in Neriak.

I just hope I have enough time to do it all.

Another weekend os fast approaching!
Sometime Sunday, maybe Saturday night, I plan to port some more of Gangs code over to the editor. If I find anything else useful that is.

There are a few other things I hope to look into as well, like killing some mimics, and testing the distance I can put between myself and Talos I. You know... the fun stuff.

This weekend is almost over, and I'm just now getting where I can put some time in. The plan is to finish up on the Calnozz script in Darklight Wood today.

Me either. That script has been a pain in the @$$ ever since I started it. Keep dreading going back to it, so hopefully I get it done tonight and can get excited about scripting again.
